No. 11 Mobile Men Defeat Spring Hill 1-0

MOBILE, Ala-- The 11th-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team defeated Spring Hill College 1-0 Saturday at Library Field to close out the 2010 regular season.
Mobile improves to 4-0-1 in SSAC West Division play and assures itself of either the 1st or 2nd seed. That means Mobile will the #3 or #4 seed from the SSAC East Division Saturday, Nov. 6 in the opening round of the SSAC Tournament. The Rams are 12-3-2 overall.
The Rams controlled much of the game, finishing with a 19-7 edge in shots and a 9-4 edge in shots on goal. Jason Williams made 4 saves in the shutout win, while Cory Bronenkamp grabbed 8 saves for Spring Hill.
The game's lone goal came in the 33rd minute off the head of Deshorn Brown, when he got just enough of Ruben Diaz's free kick to get it past the keeper in a crowded box.
