Rams Climb To 4th At Home Tournament

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's golf team finished in 4th place at the University of Mobile Rams Fall Invitational.

The two-round tournament was played at Heron Lakes Country Club.

Mobile turned in a second-round best 7-over 295 to finish 4th at 32-over 608 (313, 295), while Shorter University held on with a 24-over 600 (291, 309) to win the tournament.

The Rams sat in 8th place after Monday's opening round.

Jacob Morgan paced Mobile with a 4th-place finish after firing a 2-over 146 (73, 73).

Alejandro Salcedo climbed all the way up to 7th after firing a 71 in the final round to finish at +149 (78, 71).

Leland Dunning finished at 12-over 156 (84, 72), Patrick Kelley shot a 14-over 158 (79, 79), Brent Hill carded a 20-over 164 (85, 79) and Laile Stagner finished at 23-over 167 (83, 84).

Lee's Tyler Smith won top individual honors with a 1-under 143 (72, 71).
