UMobile Men Win By 10 At Home

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team defeated visiting Brewton-Parker College 79-69 in non-conference action Friday evening at Pharr Gym.
Mobile (6-3) hosts Concordia College-Selma Dec. 10 at 7:30 pm.
Four players scored in double figures for the Rams, led by Spencer Duke's 16-point effort. Donte Walker and Brock Dockery each added 15 points for Mobile, while Ji Kimbrough finished with 11 points.
Mobile shot 56% from the field, compared to 41% for the visitors, and Mobile finished 23-of-44 from the free throw line, while Brewton-Parker finished 15-of-21 from the charity stripe.
Gerald Kohn finished with a game-high 23 points on 8-of-16 shooting for the Barons.
The game opened with the Barons hot from the field, grabbing a 12-5 lead on Kohn's 3-pointer with 14:36 left in the half. They continued to lead until the Rams hit their stride around the halfway point and used a 17-3 run in a span of 4:52 to grab a 29-21 lead on Bentley Hylton's three-ball. Keying the run were three-straight 3-pointers, with Spencer Duke providing the final two.
Mobile continued to lead and took an 8-point lead into the break. The Rams opened the second half with a 15-2 run to take a commanding 21 point lead. Mobile led by double-digits the rest of the way.
