Taylor Kirby Finishes 1st; Lady Rams Place 2nd

GULF SHORES, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's golf team finished 2nd at the Martin Methodist College Redhawk Spring Invite Tuesday. The tournament was held at the Peninsula Golf Resort's Par-72 5800 yard course.

Mobile carded a 120-over 696 (341, 355), while Spring Hill won with a +108 684 (336, 348).

Taylor Kirby paced the Lady Rams and all golfers at the tournament with a 21-over 165 (80, 85), while Taylor Lee finished 3rd at +27 171 (85, 86). Kirby beat Spring Hill's Avery Kyle by one stroke. Her opening-round 80 was tied for the best score of any round in the tournament.

Abbie Harris finished 12th with a 36-over 180 (86, 94) and Ann Nahl carded a 37-over 181 (90, 91). Mandy Eads finished with a 58-over 202 (109, 93).
