NEW ORLEANS, La-- It took a NCAA I squad to hand the University of Mobile men's tennis team its first loss of the season Saturday, as University of New Orleans defeated the University of Mobile 7-0.
Mobile's No. 1 doubles tandem of Enzo Correa and Jesus Urmeneta fell 5-8 to Benjamin Bouhana and Hossam Meligy. UNO took the other two doubles spots by 8-1 and 8-2 scores.
In singles play, the most games Mobile got in any set was three, and that came in the second set of 6-1, 6-3 losses by Enzo Correa at No. 2 singles and Beau Bryars at No. 6 singles.
Mobile (3-1, 2-0) hosts Belhaven at 10 am and Tougaloo College at 2 pm on Mar. 26.
