Men's Golfers Sit In 4th After Two Rounds

ADAIRSVILLE, Ga-- The University of Mobile men's golf team sits in 4th place after two rounds of play at the Docuteam Invitational Monday.

The final round at the Par-72, 6679-Yard Barnsley Gardens Resort course will take place Tuesday.

Mobile fired a 60-over 636 (306, 330), while host school Shorter University leads the field with a 38-over 614 (305, 309). Abraham Baldwin CC sits in 2nd with a 617 and William Carey is in 3rd place at 626. Following the first round Monday, the Rams sat only one stroke behind Shorter.

Alejandro Salcedo leads the pack for Mobile with a 13-over 157 (76, 81), good enough for 9th place individually. Jacob Morgan is only one stroke behind Salcedo after carding a 14-over 158 (77, 81).

William Carey's Brandon Herrington leads all individuals with a 3-over 147 (70, 77).

Also for Mobile, Laile Stagner shot a 16-over 160 (76, 84), Leland Dunning carded a 17-over 161 (77, 84) and Patrick Kelley shot a 19-over 163 (79, 84).
