Rams Finish Docuteam Invite In 4th

ADAIRSVILLE, Ga-- The University of Mobile men's golf team finished in 4th place at the Docuteam Invitational Tuesday at Barnsley Gardens Resort.

Mobile fired a 3-round score of 73-over 937 (306, 330, 301) to finish 22 strokes behind tournament champ Shorter University, which finished +51 915 (305, 309, 301). The 301 each team shot in the final round was tied for the best score of the round.

Alejandro Salcedo paced Mobile by finishing 4th among individual golfers with an 11-over 227 (76, 81, 70). His final round 70 was the best score of the round.

Leland Dunning carded a 19-over 235 (77, 84, 74) to place 13th individually. Jacob Morgan finished 19th with a 24-over 240 (77, 81, 82), Laile Stagner shot a 24-over 240 (76, 84, 80) and Patrick Kelley finished at +24 240 (79, 84, 77).

Shorter's Erwan Vieilledent took home top individual honors with an 8-over 224 (73, 74, 77). Shorter is a SSAC East member, while Salcedo was the top finisher among SSAC West schools.
