Lady Ram Golfers Win Rhodes Spring Invitational

GERMANTOWN, Tenn-- The University of Mobile women's golf team won the Rhodes Spring Invitational Tuesday at Windyke West's Par-72, 5802-yard course.

After rain canceled Monday's opening round, the tournament became a one-round event, and Mobile fired a 34-over 322 in Tuesday's lone round to beat host Rhodes College by 11 strokes.

Oglethorpe University finished 3rd at 61-over 349 and Maryville College placed 4th with an 88-over 376.

Abbie Harris and Taylor Kirby just-missed winning top individual honors, finishing in 2nd place after carding a 7-over 79, finishing only 1 stroke behind champion Stephanie Mingos of Rhodes.

Right behind those three was Taylor Lee, who finished 4th with an 8-over 80, while Ann Nahl placed 7th with a 12-over 84 and Mandy Eads carded a 13-over 85.
