Rams Blast Wolfpack 8-1

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's tennis team rolled to an 8-1 conference victory over visiting Loyola University Saturday afternoon.

Mobile (6-6) will now await the SSAC Tournament April 29-30 in Montgomery.

The Rams cruised through doubles play to set the tempo for the day, getting an 8-3 win from the tandem of Enzo Correa and Jesus Urmeneta, an 8-2 win from Lucas Martins and Guilherme Lorencon, and an 8-1 win from Billy Musgrove and Clint Key.

Singles play was equally impressive in the Rams' favor, with the Wolfpack's lone win coming by default at No. 2 singles. Mobile gave up only nine games in all five singles matches that were played.
