Mobile Men Thru 2 Rounds At SSAC Championships

COLUMBUS, Ga-- The University of Mobile sits in 7th place after two rounds of play at the 2011 Southern States Athletic Conference Championships held at Green Isle Country Club.

The Rams sit at +39 615 through Monday and Tuesday's rounds, with the final round to take place Wednesday. The winner of the tournament gets an automatic bid to the 2011 NAIA National Championships.

William Carey leads the field with a 2-under 574, while Lee University sits at 586, Southern Wesleyan shot a 591, Spring Hill and Shorter carded 593's and Faulkner has a two-round score of 599.

Alejandro Salcedo leads Mobile with an 8-over 152 (73, 79) and Laile Stagner sits at 9-over 153 (76, 77).
