Men's Golf Finishes 7th At SSAC Championships

COLUMBUS, Ga-- The University of Mobile men's golf team finished play at the 2011 Southern States Athletic Conference Championship in 7th place Wednesday at Green Isle Country Club.

The Rams carded a 3-round total of 66-over 930, while William Carey won the tournament and the automatic bid to the 2011 NAIA Men's Golf National Championships with a 6-over 870.

Lee finished with an 877, Shorter shot an 889, Southern Wesleyan carded an 892, Spring Hill finished with a 900 and Faulkner shot a 906.

Alejandro Salcedo paced Mobile with a 14-over 230, while Jacob Morgan carded a 17-over 233.
