Salcedo & Stagner Honored By SSAC

MOBILE, Ala-- Alejandro Salcedo and Laile Stagner were honored with the release of the 2011 Southern States Athletic Conference men's golf awards.

Salcedo, a senior from Bogota, Columbia, was one of 11 players chosen to the All-Conference Team and was also named to the All-Academic Team.

He finished 4th at the Docuteam Invitational Mar. 21-22, finished 2nd at the MMC Redhawk Spring Invite May. 7-8 with a +4 148 (73, 75) and placed 5th at the Spring Hill Badger Invite Feb. 28-Mar. 1 with a +6 150 (74, 76).

Stagner, a sophomore from Saraland, AL, was the team's Musco Lighting Champions of Character honoree.
