Rams Blast SCAD 5-0 To Move To 2-0

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The 2nd-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team blasted 18th-ranked SCAD-Savannah 5-0 Saturday afternoon.

Mobile (2-0) will battle Mississippi College Friday, Sept. 9 at 5 pm in the UMobile Orange Beach Classic.

The Rams out shot SCAD 19-10 and got a pair of goals from Deshorn Brown for the second-straight game.

Brown opened the game's scoring by finding the back of the net just 1:44 into action. Then, in the 29th and 30th minutes, the Rams pushed that lead to 3-0.

Michael Azira scored on an assist from Sam Blackburn in the 29th minute, while Brown scored in the 30th minute.

In the second half, Mobile kept up the domination, getting a goal from Marc Joseph in the 71st minute and the final goal from Chris Dillon in the 88th minute.

Kyle Buxton and Xavier Audergon each worked a half in goal for Mobile, making two saves apiece.
