UMobile Volleyballers Pick Up Straight-Set Win

JACKSON, Miss-- The University of Mobile volleyball team cruised past Tougaloo College 3-0 (25-9, 25-6, 25-18) Saturday in non-conference action.

Mobile (5-3) will visit University of West Florida Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 7 pm.

The Lady Rams' offense was dominant, as they hit .515 as a team.

Kiara Gay led with 12 kills and hit .600, Lisa Alms added 8 kills and hit .462 and Sara Van Wert added 7 kills with a .545 attack percentage.

Melody Tenney led with 21 assists and served up six aces, while Van Wert added four aces.

Mobile was scheduled to play Philander Smith College as well, but the game was canceled.
