Ram Golfers Sit In 5th After Opening Round

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's golf team sits in 5th place after the opening round of the Alabama State University Fall Classic at Lagoon Park Monday.

The Rams carded a 17-over 305 on day one, while Faulkner leads everyone with a 4-over 292. Host Alabama State sits in second with an 8-over 296.

Zach Day leads the Rams with a 3-over 75 and sits in a tie for 8th place on the individual leaderboard.

Josh Ball sits in a tie for 15th after firing a 4-over 76, while Andrew Pacione and Thomas Pearson each carded 5-over 77's.

Patrick Kelley shot a 6-over 78 to round out the Mobile scorers.

The tournament will wrap up on Tuesday.
