Three Rams Earn SSAC POW Honors

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The University of Mobile was well-represented by the OnePath Systems SSAC Players of the Week selections for the week of Sept. 4-10.

Eoin Dolan was named Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, Xavier Audergon was named Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week and Christy Lachappelle was tabbed as Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

Dolan, a native of Dunboyne, Ireleand, tallied four goals and one assist over the weekend as the Rams blanked Mississippi College and UT-Brownsville. He scored the last two goals against the Choctaws, and then scored the only two goals against the Scorpions.

Audergon, a native of Lyon, France, worked all 90 minutes against MS College and finished with three saves in the shutout victory. The Choctaws went on to beat Embry-Riddle the next day.

Lachappelle, meanwhile, dominated for the Lady Rams in wins over 19th-ranked Carroll and 26th-ranked Westminster. The San Antonio, TX, native finished the week with four goals and three assists. She tallied two goals and two assists in a 4-0 blanking of Carroll, and then played the role of hero against Westminster. With the score tied 4-4 and only 1:35 left in the final OT period, the junior weaved past a defender in the box and cracked a shot into the far corner to pick up a victory.
