Lady Rams Finish 2nd At Lagoon Park

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's golf team opened the 2011-12 season by placing 2nd at the ASU Fall Golf Classic.

Host Alabama State won the tournament at Lagoon Park with an 87-over 663 (332, 331), while the Rams shot a +101 677 (336, 341). Mobile tied with rival Spring Hill.

Abbie Harris finished 5th overall with a 19-over 163 (81, 82) and Ann Nahl finished one spot behind her at 21-over 165 (82, 83).

Emily Blount tied for 7th with a 22-over 166 (83, 83) and Alexis Belton shot a 25-over 169 (83, 86) for the Lady Rams.

Rounding out the Mobile performers were Mandy Eads at +36 180 (90, 90) and Kylee Schone at +50 194 (94, 100).
