Ram Runners Compete At Azalea City Classic

MOBILE, Ala-- The UMobile men's cross country team finished 5th at the University of South Alabama Azalea City Classic Saturday.

The 8K run was held at Brookley Field.

Mobile turned in a team time of 2:51:37 with 117 points, while South Alabama won the meet with a time of 2:16 and 15 points.

The Rams' top runner was Mark Meadows, who finished in 23rd by clocking in at 31:23.79. Zach Gaines finished two spots back at 31:31.33 and John Craft finished at 32:40.12.

Rounding out the Mobile runners, Emil Verde finished at 36:18.21 and Jeffrey Caviness finished at 39:44.01.
