UMobile Men's Golfers Place 3rd

MERIDIAN, Miss-- The University of Mobile men's golf team finished in 3rd place at the Jim Redgate Invitational Tuesday.

The two-day tournament took place at the Par-72 6,928-yard Briarwood CC.

Mobile fired an 18-over 594 (296, 298), while Central Alabama CC won the tournament with a 2-under 574 (285, 289).

Zach Day tied for 4th overall with a 1-over 145 (75, 70). His 70 on the final day was tied for the best score of the tournament. J.M. O'Toole won the event with a 3-under 141 for Central Alabama.

Andrew Pacione placed 10th with a 4-over 148 (71, 77), Leland Dunning carded a 6-over 150 (77, 73) and Thomas Pearson finished with a 7-over 151 (73, 78) for the Rams.

Brent Hill shot a 21-over 165 (84, 81).
