Lady Ram Golfers Sit In 11th At NAIA Preview Tournament

GREENEVILLE, Tenn-- The University of Mobile women's golf team sits in 11th place after round one at the 2011 NAIA Preview Tournament Monday.

The tournament is being held at Link Hills Golf and Country Club. It is a Par-73, 6,056-yard course.

Lee University and Northwood University sit atop the leaderboard after firing 17-over 309's. UMobile carded a 47-over 339 on day one.

Abbie Harris and Ann Nahl paced Mobile on the first 18 holes with a pair of 9-over 82's. Harris carded a 39 on the back-nine.

Alexis Belton shot a 13-over 86, Mandy Eads finished at +16 89 and Emily Blount carded a 24-over 97.

College of Idaho's Baylee Borchers led all individual golfers with a 1-over 74.

The tournament will wrap up Tuesday with a 9 am shotgun start.
