4th-Ranked Rams Roll Past Emmanuel 4-0

MOBILE, Ala-- The 4th-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team rolled past visiting Emmanuel College 4-0 in Southern States Athletic Conference action Friday.

Mobile (9-1, 5-1) will host conference opponent Brewton-Parker Saturday at 7 pm.

Deshorn Brown started the scoring for the Rams in the 11th minute when he took a feed from Gunnar Steindorsson, worked to the top of the 18-yard box and blasted a shot past the goalkeeper.

Four minutes later, Steindorsson added a goal when he caught up to a long pass from Stephen Okai and flicked it over the defense.

Then, making it 3-0 after the opening 45 minutes of play, Sam Blackburn finished an assist from Okai in the 37th minute.

The second-half scoring came in the form of a penalty kick from Okai in the 71st minute.
