Women's Soccer Holds Off Faulkner 2-1

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The 8th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team held on to down Faulkner University 2-1 in Southern States Athletic Conference action Saturday.
Mobile (12-2-1, 8-1) will visit William Carey University Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 5 pm.
Faulkner out shot Mobile 19-14, but Lorna Brownlie made seven saves in goal for the Lady Rams to pick up the victory.
Offensively, Jesslyn Fagundes put Mobile on the board with a first-half goal and Christy Lachappelle added the game-winning tally in the second period of play. Kassie Ruff added an assist for Mobile.
