Lady Rams Pick Up Two More Victories

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile volleyball team swept a pair of non-conference foes Saturday. Mobile defeated Xavier 3-0 (25-19, 25-15, 25-17) and took down Southern University at New Orleans 3-0 (25-17, 25-19, 25-18).

The Lady Rams (21-11, 6-5) visit SSAC foe Faulkner Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 7 pm.

Mobile out-hit Xavier .276 to .086 and finished with a 9-3 edge in service aces.

Kiara Gay tallied 13 kills and 11 digs, while hitting .429. Melody Tenney had 20 assists, and 6 kills, while Alison Kenney added 11 digs and Katy McCollister finished with 10 digs.

Reagin Boggs led the team with 3 service aces, while Disah Kolassiba added 7 kills and 4 blocks.

In the final game of the day, Mobile held the SUNO Knights to a -.127 attack percentage.

Kolassiba led the team with 11 kills while hitting .667, and Gay added 10 kills.

Tenney added 7 kills, 15 assists, 12 digs and 3 blocks, while Sara Van Wert added 5 kills and 3 aces.
