No. 5 Mobile Men Blast No. 12 AUM 4-0

MOBILE, Ala-- The 5th-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team blanked 12th-ranked Auburn University-Montgomery 4-0 in Southern States Athletic Conference action Tuesday evening.
The Rams scored first in the 3rd minute on an own goal by AUM, when goalkeeper Vignir Johannesson botched a Deshorn Brown ricochet into the net.
The score stayed that way until the 80th minute, when Mobile finished the game with three quick goals.
Sam Blackburn made it 2-0 at the 80:21 mark when he received a pass from Stephen Okai a few yards outside the 18-yard box and flicked the ball into the far corner.
Then, in the 84th and 86th minutes Brown tallied a pair of goals to make it 4-0 Mobile. The sophomore scored an unassisted goal when he got to a loose ball in the box and flicked it over the keeper, and in the 86th minute he headed home a ball off a Blackburn corner and Chris Dillon header.
Brown now has 26 goals on the season, while Blackburn is up to 12 assists.
Mobile (14-1-1, 9-1-1) will host rival Spring Hill College Saturday at 7 pm.
