UMobile Volleyball Wins 7th-Consecutive Match

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The University of Mobile volleyball team swept Faulkner University 3-0 (25-22, 25-18, 25-20) in SSAC road action Tuesday evening.

Kiara Gay hit .308 and led Mobile with 14 kills, while Sara Van Wert hit .368 with 8 kills.

Katy McCollister led the way defensively with 19 digs, while Alison Kenney added 14 digs and Melody Tenney finished with 21 assists and 3 service aces.

Mobile out hit Faulkner .204 to .030 as a team, as Faulkner's leader in kills was Shelby Woods with 6.

Mobile (22-11, 7-5) will visit non-conference opponent Dillard University Thursday, Oct. 27 at 7 pm.

The Lady Rams have won seven straight and are 15-2 over the last seventeen games.
