Mobile Beats Faulkner

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team took down Faulkner University 75-72 in NAIA non-conference action Tuesday. Mobile (3-0) returns to action at Life University Monday, Nov. 16 at 7 pm. The Rams controlled the boards, outrebounding Faulkner 36-23 and out shot the Eagles 56% to 43% from the floor. That helped Mobile overcome 28 turnovers and a 9-of-18 effort from the charity stripe.

Lady Rams Finish 6th At GCAC Championship

CLINTON, Miss-- The University of Mobile women's cross country team finished in 6th place at the 2009 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Championship at Choctaw Trails Course Saturday morning.

The Lady Rams finished with 153 points and a time of 2:11:40 in the 5K meet. Xavier won the event with 38 points and a time of 1:45:23.

Mobile Falls To Carey In GCAC Finals

HATTIESBURG, Miss-- The University of Mobile women's soccer team fell 2-0 to NAIA No. 4 in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Championship game Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Rams (8-9-1) will still move on to the unaffiliated tournament in Dallas, Texas beginning Tuesday, Nov. 10 with opponent and time to be determined. The tournament will have games Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, with the winner advancing to the NAIA National Championship.

UM Takes Down Belhaven In OT At GCAC Tourney

JACKSON, Miss--- The University of Mobile men's soccer team extended its season for at least one more game by defeating No. 23 Belhaven College 2-1 in overtime in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Tournament Semifinals Friday.

Mobile (7-10) will play the winner of tonight's LSU-Shreveport/William Carey matchup Monday in the GCAC Championship game.

Rams Pick Up 97-77 Victory

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team improved to 2-0 with a 97-77 win over visiting Southeastern Bible College Friday at Pharr Gym. Brock Dockery scored 19 of his team-high 23 points in the first half and finished with 13 rebounds. Donte Walker added 15 points, 12 of which came in the first half, Ben Healey finished with 11 points and Kevin Calloway scored 10 points for Mobile.
