Cameron Williams Joins Women's Soccer Staff

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's soccer program has announced the hiring of Cameron Williams as assistant coach. "Cameron was someone who definitely caught my eye early," UMobile Head Coach Brian Person said. "He's from Daphne and knows the local area, he's young and eager to establish himself in the coaching ranks, and he brings some experience with him."

UMobile Receives SSAC End of the Year Awards

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile had some student-athletes and employees honored with the release of the 2013 Southern States Athletic Conference End of the Year Awards. Former men's soccer player Stephen Okai was tabbed the SSAC Male Athlete of the Year and Dr. Melissa Thomas was named the SSAC Athletic Trainer of the Year.

Women's Soccer Announces 2013 Recruiting Class

MOBILE, Ala—University of Mobile women’s soccer coach Brian Person has announced the signing of ten players for the 2013 season. The Lady Rams are coming off a 15-4-2 season that saw them advance to the NAIA National Championship for the third-straight season. Mobile finished the year ranked 8th in the NAIA Top-25. UMobile 16th In NAIA Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup Standings

CLEVELAND – The University of Mobile (AL) is 16th in the second set of Learfield Sports Directors' Cup fall standings. Olivet Nazarene (IL) leads after collecting 258.00 total points after finishing second in women’ soccer, third in women’s cross country, ninth in men’s soccer and 22nd overall in men’s cross country.

Five Lady Rams Named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes

ORANGE BEACH, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's soccer team had five student-athletes named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes, as announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Friday. The NAIA had 492 women's soccer student-athletes honored. For Mobile, Elisabeth Davis, Christy Lachappelle, Olivia Maddox, Melissa Maddox and Kelsie Ruff were honored. Davis, Lachappelle, Ruff and Olivia are two-time winners of the award.

5th-Seeded Lady Rams Fall 1-0 In Round of 16

ORANGE BEACH, Ala-- The 5th-seeded University of Mobile women's soccer team fell to 12th-seeded Olivet Nazarene 1-0 in the Round of 16 at the NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship. Mobile finishes the season at 15-4-2, while Olivet (18-3-0) advances to face UT-Brownsville in the Quarterfinals Wednesday at 6:30 pm.

Women's Soccer National Championship Preview

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (Bracket | Schedule) Sixteen teams punched their ticket to the final site of the 29th annual NAIA Women's Soccer National Championships presented by the Sports Medicine Center at Orthopaedic Group, P.C., Nov. 26 - Dec. 1held at the Orange Beach Sportsplex in Orange Beach, Ala., after winning opening round matches on Nov. 17. Advancing teams will play in the second round on Nov. 26 - 27 with four games each day, followed by the quarterfinals on Nov. 28.

NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship Bracket Released

KANSAS CITY, Mo-- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has officially released the opening round pairings and tournament bracket for the 2012 NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship. The University of Mobile is the 5th seed and has a bye to the final site in Orange Beach, Ala., Nov. 26 - Dec. 1. The Lady Rams will be joined by the winners of 15 Opening Round matches at the final site. Twenty-four teams earned an automatic berth by winning their respective conference/independent/unaffiliated group tournament or regular season, Faulkner advanced as the Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament runner-up and six were chosen as at-large selections based on their standing in the final NAIA Women's Soccer MRPI.

Four Named To Capital One Academic All-District Team

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile had four student-athletes named to the Captial One Academic All-District Team for District 2 (College Division) as selected by the Collegiate Sports Information Directors Association (CoSIDA). Lindsay Taylor chosen for volleyball and Christy Lachappelle, Kelsie Ruff and Olivia Maddox chosen for women's soccer.
