No. 5 Lady Rams Cruise Past Truett 5-1

MOBILE, Ala-- The 5th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team rolled past visiting Truett-McConnell by a 5-1 score Saturday in Southern States Athletic Conference action. Mobile (7-3-1, 3-1) will host 13th-ranked Auburn-Montgomery Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 5 pm. The Lady Rams out shot Truett-McConnell 19-5 and tallied four goals in the final period to pick up the win.

No. 5 Lady Rams Blast Lady Warriors 4-0

MOBILE, Ala-- The 5th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team defeated visiting Southern Wesleyan 4-0 in Southern States Athletic Conference action. Mobile (6-3-1, 2-1) hosts Truett-McConnell Saturday at 5 pm. The Lady Rams dominated the game from the start, out shooting the Warriors 25-1, and finishing with a 9-0 edge in corner kicks. Mobile tallied a pair of goals in each half.

No. 6 Lady Rams Fall at No. 2 Lee

CLEVELAND, Tenn-- The 6th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team fell 0-2 at 2nd-ranked Lee University in Southern States Athletic Conference action Saturday. Mobile (5-3-1, 1-1) hosts Southern Wesleyan in a conference tilt Friday, Sept. 28 at 4 pm. Lee out shot Mobile 13-8 and finished with a 6-2 edge in shots on frame, while tallying one goal in each half.

No. 6 Lady Rams Pick Up SSAC Win In OT

GAINESVILLE, Ga-- The 6th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team used Christy Lachappelle's golden goal to take down SSAC opponent Brenau University 2-1 in overtime Friday. Mobile (5-2-1, 1-0) will visit 2nd-ranked Lee University (3-1) Saturday at 4 pm CST. Jenny Knibbs put the Golden Tigers up 1-0 with an unassisted goal in the 38th minute, and things stayed that way until the 70th minute, when Melissa Maddox sent a corner into the box, and Olivia Maddox was waiting to flick the ball past the goalkeeper to knot it up at 1-1.

No. 6 Lady Rams Fall Against No. 4 Embry-Riddle

ORANGE BEACH, Ala-- The 6th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team fell 1-3 to 4th-ranked Embry-Riddle at the Orange Beach Sportsplex Saturday evening. Mobile (4-2-1) next plays at SSAC foe Brenau Sept. 21 at 4:30 PM CST. Embry-Riddle finished the game with a 12-3 edge in shots and a 6-2 edge in shots on target.

No. 6 Lady Rams Battle No. 1 Concordia To Double-OT Tie

ORANGE BEACH, Ala-- The 6th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team battled top-ranked Concordia University to a 1-1 double-overtime tie at the Orange Beach Sportsplex Friday evening. Mobile (4-1-1) will battle 4th-ranked Embry-Riddle in the NAIA Game of the Week Saturday at 4:30 pm at the sportsplex. Alex Blalock put Concordia up 1-0 in the 38th minute, when she took a feed from Alicia Alarcon-Evans in the 18-yard box and had just the keeper to beat.

No. 4 Lady Rams Drop First Game Of Season

MOBILE, Ala-- Visiting SCAD Savannah handed the 4th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team its first loss of the season Thursday, topping the Lady Rams 1-0. Each team managed only three shots on target in the game, and the Lady Rams did nothing with a 13-4 advantage in corner kicks. Mobile's best shot to score came in the 19th minute, when Christy Lachappelle got into the 18-yard box with only the keeper to beat, but SCAD goalkeeper Ciara Thomas was up to the challenge, knocking away the Lachappelle laser.

Lady Rams Roll To 2-0 Home Win

MOBILE, Ala-- The 5th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team blanked visiting Reinhardt University 2-0 in non-conference action Monday afternoon. The Lady Rams (4-0) host SCAD-Savannah Thursday, Sept. 6 at 7 pm. Mobile dominated from start to finish, out-shooting the visitors 25-1 for the game, with a 13-1 edge in the first half and a 12-0 edge in the final period of play.

FAIRHOPE, Ala-- Forced to play at Founder's Park in Fairhope, Ala., due to an unplayable field at UMobile, the 5th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team scored a pair of goals in each half to take down 15th-ranked Northwood University 4-2. Mobile (3-0) hosts Reinhardt Monday, Sept. 1 at 1 pm.

Saturday's Soccer Games Moved To Fairhope

MOBILE, Ala-- Saturday's scheduled University of Mobile home soccer doubleheader has been moved to Founder's Park in Fairhope, Ala., due to all the rain the Rams' home field took from Hurricane Isaac. The 5th-ranked Lady Rams will face 15th-ranked Northwood (Fla.) at 6:30 pm, while the 12th-ranked UMobile men will follow at 8:30 pm against Northwood.
