Lady Rams Get Coach Campbell His 300th Career Victory

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile volleyball team closed out the regular season with a 3-0 (25-11, 25-12, 25-9) victory over visiting Tougaloo College to give Head Coach Jon Campbell his 300th career victory Monday. Campbell boasts a 300-157 career mark and a 173-74 record in seven seasons with the Lady Rams. He started the UMobile volleyball program in 2005, and just one year later led the team to a 31-7 record. Then, over the next three seasons, Mobile compiled 96 wins, three conference championships and three trips to the NAIA National Championships.

Lady Rams Battle, But Fall 0-3 To SHC

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile volleyball team battled 19th-ranked Spring Hill College, but fell 0-3 (22-25, 23-25, 20-25) in a Southern States Athletic Conference battle. Mobile (23-13, 7-7) will host Tougaloo Monday, Nov. 7 in a non-conference game, while Spring Hill improves to 36-0 on the season. Spring Hill out-hit Mobile .300 to .181 and the Lady Rams finished with 11 service errors and 22 attack errors, compared to 7 attack errors and 9 service errors for the Badgers.

Lady Rams Fall 1-3 To SSAC Foe Loyola

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile fell 1-3 (28-26, 20-25, 19-25, 13-25) at home to Loyola University in Southern States Athletic Conference action Tuesday. Mobile (23-12, 7-6) hosts 19th-ranked Spring Hill Thursday, Nov. 3 at 7:30 pm. Kiara Gay led the Lady Rams with 16 kills and added 12 digs, while Alison Kenney finished with 6 kills and 14 digs. Sara Van Wert led the team with 7 blocks, while Katy McCollister led with 16 digs. Melody Tenney paced the team with 28 assists.

Lady Rams Sweep Road Match At Dillard

NEW ORLEANS, La-- The University of Mobile volleyball team defeated Dillard 3-0 (25-22, 25-9, 25-22) in non-conference action Thursday evening. Mobile (23-11, 7-5) will host Loyola University Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 7:30 pm in a SSAC West matchup. Kiara Gay led Mobile with 14 kills and a .333 attack percentage, while Alison Kenney added 10 kills and 13 digs for a double-double.

UMobile Volleyball Wins 7th-Consecutive Match

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The University of Mobile volleyball team swept Faulkner University 3-0 (25-22, 25-18, 25-20) in SSAC road action Tuesday evening. Kiara Gay hit .308 and led Mobile with 14 kills, while Sara Van Wert hit .368 with 8 kills. Katy McCollister led the way defensively with 19 digs, while Alison Kenney added 14 digs and Melody Tenney finished with 21 assists and 3 service aces.

Lady Rams Pick Up Two More Victories

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile volleyball team swept a pair of non-conference foes Saturday. Mobile defeated Xavier 3-0 (25-19, 25-15, 25-17) and took down Southern University at New Orleans 3-0 (25-17, 25-19, 25-18). The Lady Rams (21-11, 6-5) visit SSAC foe Faulkner Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 7 pm. Mobile out-hit Xavier .276 to .086 and finished with a 9-3 edge in service aces.

UMobile Volleyball Wins In Five At Belhaven

JACKSON, Miss-- The University of Mobile volleyball team rallied to defeat Southern States Athletic Conference opponent Belhaven University 3-2 (18-25, 25-18, 18-25, 25-18, 20-18) Tuesday evening. Mobile (19-11, 6-5) hosts Xavier University and Southern University at New Orleans Saturday, Oct. 22 at 11 am and 3 pm.

Volleyball Goes 2-0 On Final Day Of Tournament

SAVANNAH, Ga-- The UMobile volleyball team went 2-0 on the final day of the SCAD Invitational Saturday, defeating Shawnee State 3-0 (25-9, 25-15, 25-17) and taking down host SCAD-Savannah 3-1 (19-25, 25-23, 25-20, 25-22). Mobile (18-11) will visit Belhaven University Tuesday, Oct. 18 at 7 pm. The Lady Rams out hit Shawnee State .366 to .011, served up six aces and finished with a 6-0 edge in team blocks.

UMobile Volleyball Goes 1-1 At SCAD Invitational

SAVANNAH, Ga-- The University of Mobile volleyball team went 1-1 on day one of the SCAD Invitational Friday, falling to 11th-ranked Taylor University 2-3 (25-17, 21-25, 27-25, 17-25, 11-15) and defeating Ave Maria 3-2 (25-20, 23-25, 25-25, 23-25, 15-5). Mobile (16-11) will face Shawnee State Saturday at 11 am and SCAD at 1 pm to cap the tournament.

UMobile Volleyball Goes 1-1 On Final Day In Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The University of Mobile volleyball team went 1-1 on the final day of the Faulkner University Invitational Saturday to cap a 3-1 weekend. Mobile (14-10, 5-5) defeated Bryan College 3-0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-14) and fell to Freed-Hardeman 2-3 (23-25, 25-23, 24-26, 25-20, 9-15) Saturday. Against Freed-Hardeman, Mobile had three players with double-digit kills. Kiara Gay led the way with a double-double of 18 kills and 18 digs, while Alison Kenney and Disah Kolassiba added 15 kills apiece.
