Baseball Adds Three, Including Two Former Draftees

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile baseball team announced the signing of Tucker Ward (UMS-Wright), Matt Arguello (WP Davidson) and Corey Hale (Luverne). Arguello is a 6'4 left-hander from Enterprise State Community College. He prepped at WP Davidson High School and was selected in the 19th round of the 2010 MLB Amateur Draft by the Minnesota Twins.

Baseball Adds Pair To 2014 Class

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile baseball announced the addition of Taylor Hardy and Dane Howard for the 2014 season. Hardy is a 5'7 middle infielder/outfielder from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and D'Iberville High School and Howard is a 5'10 right-hander from Washington county High School.

Baseball Adds Pair Of Transfers; Including Former MLB Draftee

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile baseball team announced the addition of Hoke Granger (Northside Methodist Academy) and Dakota Spikes (pictured). Granger is a 6-2 outfielder who comes to Mobile from Gulf Coast State College and Northside Methodist Academy in Dothan, Ala. Spikes is a 6-1 third baseman who comes to Mobile from Gulf Coast State College and Rutherford High School in Panama City, Fla.

Ryan Parazine Earns NAIA All-America Honors

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile's Ryan Parazine was named a 2013 Honorable Mention NAIA Baseball All-American Monday, as announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. Parazine is the first UMobile baseball player to be honored since 2009, when Kevin Orso was a 1st-Team selection and Carlos Romero was a Honorable Mention selection.

UMobile Receives SSAC End of the Year Awards

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile had some student-athletes and employees honored with the release of the 2013 Southern States Athletic Conference End of the Year Awards. Former men's soccer player Stephen Okai was tabbed the SSAC Male Athlete of the Year and Dr. Melissa Thomas was named the SSAC Athletic Trainer of the Year.
