Mobile (14-13, 8-7) visits Talladega for a 1 pm twin bill Tuesday, March 20. In the seven-inning opener, the Rams offense produced 11 runs on 12 hits and 9 walks to back Ryan Hines. Hines worked 5 innings of 1-run, 4-hit ball, while striking out 6 hitters. Mobile chased George Smith in the 3rd after the Loyola Starter had given up 6 runs on 6 hits in 2.1 innings of work.

Mobile (9-13, 4-7) and William Carey (15-8, 7-3) will close out the series with a single game at 2 pm Sunday. Ryan Hines limited the Crusaders to 2 runs on 4 hits in 8 innings of mound work. The lefty fanned 7 and walked 5. Josh Blaylock worked a perfect 9th to grab the save.

Lefty Cole Vaughan went the distance to grab the win for Mobile in the opener, limiting the Scots to 1 earned run on 5 hits in 7 innings of work. He struck out 4 and walked none while throwing only 73 pitches.

Drew Esslinger grabbed the win for the Rams with 2 innings of 2-hit shutout relief in the opener.

Corey Fountain was tagged with the loss after giving up 0 earned runs (6 unearned) on 5 hits in 2.2 innings.
