CLEVELAND – The University of Mobile (AL) is 16th in the second set of Learfield Sports Directors' Cup fall standings. Olivet Nazarene (IL) leads after collecting 258.00 total points after finishing second in women’ soccer, third in women’s cross country, ninth in men’s soccer and 22nd overall in men’s cross country.

CLINTON, Miss-- The University of Mobile men's cross country team finished 11th at the 2012 SSAC Championships Saturday. Mobile finished with 302 points and a team time of 2:41:50 at the 8K meet held at Choctaw Trails. Emmanuel won the championship with 25 points and a time of 2:11:51.

Ala-- The University of Mobile men's cross country team finished 2nd at the 2012 Badger Brawl Thursday at the Spring Hill Golf Course. The meet was a 4 mile run. The Rams turned in 42 points and a team time of 2:08:01, while the Badgers won the event with 18 points and a time of 1:57:16.

ORLANDO, Fla-- The University of Mobile men's cross country team finished 21st at the Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic Saturday. The 8K meet was held at the ESPN Wild World of Sports Complex. The Rams finished with a team time of 2:51:07 and posted 613 points, while Malone won the meet with a time of 2:11:25 and 36 points.

PENSACOLA, Fla-- The University of Mobile men's cross country team finished 9th at the 2012 Gulf Coast Cross Country Stampede Saturday morning. The Rams turned in a time of 2:42:15 with 250 points, while Emory won with 46 points and a team time of 2:14:31.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's cross country team finished 13th at the 2012 Azalea City Classic Saturday morning. The 8K meet was held at the Brookley Pines Golf Course. The Rams finished with 378 points and a team time of 2:36:00, while Auburn won the meet with 22 points and a time of 2:09:00. William Carey was the top NAIA school with 146 points and a time of 2:17:08.

NEW ORLEANS, La-- The University of Mobile men's cross country team finished in 7th place at the Loyola University Cross Country Invitational Saturday to open the 2012 season. William Carey won the meet with 51 points and a team time of 1:27:39.12, while the Rams posted 174 points and a team time of 1:41:29.49. Colby Verdin paced the Rams with a 19th-place finish and a time of 18:27.15.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's cross country program announced the signing of Cottage Hill Christian Academy's Colby Verdin Tuesday. Verdin participated in cross country and track and field at CHCA since the 8th grade. As a junior, he earned All-State honors and was recognized by the Mobile Press-Register as one of the Super Seven for the region.

CLINTON, Miss-- The UMobile men's cross country team placed 10th at the 2011 SSAC Championships Saturday morning at Choctaw Trails. The Rams finished the 8K meet with a total time of 2:42:27.82, while Shorter University won the championship with a time of 2:09:42.66. Emmanuel finished 2nd at 2:15:13.58. Zach Gaines led the Rams with a time of 31:02.28 and placed 59th overall, while Mark Meadows crossed the finish line at 31:22.75 to place 63rd.

CLINTON, Miss-- The University of Mobile men's and women's cross country teams ran at the 2011 Choctaw Open Saturday morning at Choctaw Trails. The men finished 12th as a team in the 8K run, while the women did not have enough runners to qualify as a team in their 5K run. The men finished with a total time of 2:59:14.92 and 351 points, while Mississippi State won the meet with a time of 2:13:24.59 and 33 points.
