Smith And Hartley Honored By GCAC

HATTIESBURG, Miss-- The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference released the GCAC Players of the Week awards for the week ending April 4th and the University of Mobile had a pair of athletes honored. Rachel Hartley was named the GCAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week and Cameron Smith was named the GCAC Men's Golfer of the Week.

UM Finishes Thomas Invite In 7th

VALDOSTA, Ga-- The University of Mobile men's golf team finished 7th at the Thomas University Winter Invitational Tuesday at Kinderlou Forest GC. The Rams finished at 54-over 630 (321, 309), 19 strokes behind No. 1 Shorter College, which finished at 35-over 611 (306, 305). Johnson & Wales finished 2nd, two strokes behind Shorter.

Four UM Athletes Earn Player Of The Week Honors

HATTIESBURG,Miss-- The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference released the GCAC Players of the Week for the week ending Oct. 18, and the University of Mobile had four athletes honored. Satsuma native Jacob Morgan was named the Men's Golf Player of the Week for his showing at the NAIA Preview Invitational.

Rams Finish 13th At NAIA Preview Invitational

SILVIS, Ill-- The University of Mobile men's golf team shaved 20 strokes off their round 1 score and finished tied for 13th at the NAIA Preview Invitational Friday. The Rams finished at 60-over 628 (324, 304) to tie for 13th with William Woods University. Oklahoma City won the event with a 26-over 594 (300, 294).

UM Finishes 10th At Tournament

CLEVELAND, Miss-- The University of Mobile men's golf team finished in 10th place out of 13 teams at the Derrall Foreman Invitational Saturday. The Rams shaved 11 strokes off their round one score of 308, carding a 9-over 297 in the final round to finish at 605 for the event. University of North Alabama won the event with a 5-under 571. They beat out Delta State by one stroke

Rams Compete At Jim Redgate Invitational

MERIDIAN, Miss-- The University of Mobile men's golf team finished in 6th place out of 10 teams at the Jim Redgate Invitational Tuesday. Mobile posted an 884 (299, 294, 291, +32) in the three-round tournament. Meridian Community College won the tournament by firing a +15 867 (289, 287, 291). Alejandro Salcedo paced the Rams by carding an even-par 213 (72, 70, 71) to finish 6th among 63 individual golfers.
