MOBILE, Ala.—The University of Mobile announced Tuesday that long-time men’s soccer Head Coach Peter Fuller is leaving the school to become reserve team coach for the New England Revolution of the MLS. Fuller will also assist with first-team coaching and scouting. A native of Sudbury, Mass., Fuller took the reigns of the Rams’ program in 1995 and racked up a 219-97-17 record in 16 seasons, including a high of 23 wins in 1999 and a NAIA National Championship in 2002. He also won the NAIA National Championship in 1992 with Belhaven, and is a 3-time NAIA Coach of the Year.

CLEVELAND – The University of Mobile is ranked 15th in the final fall NAIA Learfield Sports Directors' Cup Standings. Mobile received 53 points for a ninth place finish in women's soccer and 83 points for a third place finish in men's soccer. Azusa Pacific (Calif.) extended its lead, earning 25 points following a ninth place finish in football, bringing their point total to 301 points.

KANSAS CITY, Mo-- The University of Mobile's Chris Dillon, Stephen Okai and Deshorn Brown were named 1st-Team NAIA Men's Soccer All-American, as announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Monday. There are three teams, in addition to an honorable mention list. Eleven players were named to the First Team, with Mobile the only squad to have three student-athletes honored as 1st-Team selections.

ORANGE BEACH, Ala-- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics released the 2010 NAIA Men's Soccer All-Tournament Team, and several Rams were honored. Defender Chris Dillon, midfielder Ruben Diaz and forward Deshorn Brown made the list from UMobile. The University of Mobile men (17-4-2) co-hosted the 2010 NAIA National Championship along with the Alabama Gulf Coast Sports Commission and advanced to the Semifinals for the 7th time in school history. Mobile ended the season with a 1-0 loss to Notre Dame College.

ORANGE BEACH, Ala. - Notre Dame junior Luke Holmes was the difference as the fourth-seeded Falcons eliminate No. 9 Mobile (Ala.), 1-0 in the first Semifinal of the NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship final site from the Orange Beach Sportsplex. He scored an unassisted goal in the 59
th minute for the game-winner. The Falcons win in their first-ever Semifinal appearance and will next play on Saturday at 7 p.m. CST. The Championship finals opponent will be the winner of the second Semifinal between No. 3 Hastings (Neb.) and No. 7 William Jewell (Mo.).

ORANGE BEACH, Ala-- The 9th-seeded University of Mobile men's soccer team advanced to the Semifinals of the 2010 NAIA Men's Soccer National Championships by knocking off 2008 National Champion Bethel University (Tenn.) 3-2 Wednesday at the Orange Beach Sportsplex. The Rams (17-3-2) will battle No. 4 seed Notre Dame (Ohio) Friday at 4 pm. The Falcons sport an unblemished 22-0 record. Armando Orozco put the Wildcats of Bethel on the board first with a goal in the 14th minute, when he found a clearing in the box and punched it into the net.

ORANGE BEACH, Ala-- The 9th-seeded University of Mobile men's soccer team defeated No. 8 seed Belhaven University 4-3 in the second round of the 2010 NAIA Men's Soccer National Championships Tuesday evening at the Orange Beach Sportsplex in Orange Beach, Ala. Mobile (16-3-2) advances to the Round of 8 and will face Bethel University (Tenn.) Wednesday at 7:30 pm at the Orange Beach Sportsplex. The Rams out shot Belhaven 23-11 and finished with a 10-5 edge in shots on frame.

ORANGE BEACH, Ala-- The 52
nd annual NAIA Men’s Soccer National Championship final site event will begin on Nov. 29 with four matches from Orange Beach, Ala. Sixteen teams will compete in the single-elimination tournament from the Orange Beach Sportsplex. The second round concludes on Nov. 30, followed by quarterfinal matches on Dec. 1, the semifinal round on Dec. 3 and the National Championship final on Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. CST.

MOBILE, Ala-- The Southern States Athletic Conference released the 2010 SSAC Men's Soccer All-Conference Teams, and the 7th-ranked University of Mobile was well-represented. Deshorn Brown was tabbed SSAC Freshman of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year and Player of the Year after tallying 18 goals and 5 assists in his first year of collegiate soccer. Five of those goals were game-winners.
