MOBILE, Ala-- The 6th-ranked William Carey University men's tennis team defeated the University of Mobile 8-1 in Southern States Athletic Conference action Wednesday. Mobile (8-1, 2-1) next plays Rust College in Jackson, Miss., March 22 at 4 pm.

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's tennis team defeated NCAA-III Huntingdon College 7-2 Tuesday in road action. The Rams took two-of-three in doubles, getting 8-3 wins from Lucas Tristao - Guilherme Arcaro and Fernando Paiva - Bruno Marques at No. 2 and 3 doubles.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's tennis team improved to 6-0 on the season with an 8-1 victory over visiting Transylvania Wednesday. Mobile (6-0, 1-0) hosts rival Spring Hill Friday at 5 pm. The Rams took two-of-three doubles points and then swept the visitors in singles play.

NEW ORLEANS, La.-- The University of Mobile men's tennis team defeated Loyola University 8-1 in road Southern States Athletic Conference action. Mobile (4-0, 1-0) hosts LeTourneau University March 11 at 1 pm. Mobile swept doubles play, with an 8-1 win from Marcio Dal Pont and Santiago Casucci at No. 2 and an 8-2 win from Lucas Tristao and Guilherme Arcaro at No. 3.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's tennis team fell 1-8 to 9th-ranked Point Loma Nazarene University Tuesday on day one of the 2012 NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship. Mobile ends the season with a 7-6 overall record. This was Mobile's 5th-straight trip to the tournament. Point Loma advances to face Xavier University Wednesday at 1 pm. Point Loma's No. 1 doubles duo of Tyler Bowman and Gregory de Andrade picked up an 8-2 win, and then each team picked up a comeback victory in the final two matches. Point Loma rallied from down 5-6 to take the 3rd doubles slot 8-6 and Mobile's No. 2 duo of Lucas Tristao and Guilherme Arcaro rallied from down 7-6 to win 9-8 (5).
