MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team used the 3-pointer to defeat NCAA-II University of West Florida 68-65 Saturday evening at Pharr Gym. Mobile (9-3) will begin SSAC West Division play Thursday, Jan. 13 at 5:30 pm when they host William Carey University. West Florida falls to 7-7 on the season. Adrienne Mackay led Mobile with 17 points, Morgan Melancon added 13 points on 4-of-7 shooting from 3-point range, Anna Maddox chipped in 12 points off the bench and Alice Honnery added 5 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 blocks.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team defeated visiting Tougaloo College 64-58 Tuesday evening after a 25-day layoff. In the game, Alice Honnery finished with 12 points, 14 rebounds and 7 blocks to give her 189 career blocks in just a season and a half to become the Lady Rams' all-time career blocks leader. Edmarie Lumbsley held down the top spot after totaling 188 blocks from 2000-02. Alyssa Lane added 14 points and 7 boards for Mobile and Adrienne Mackay chipped in 11 points.

MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama women’s basketball team tied an arena record with 14 three-pointers Wednesday evening as they coasted to a 93-54 victory over Mobile at the Mitchell Center. The game was an exhibition contest for Mobile (7-3), who will host Tougaloo College Tuesday, Jan. 4 at 5:30 pm. Playing with only nine players dressed out for the game due to injury, South Alabama placed four players in double figures led by Sarda Peterson’s career-high 25 points.

Mobile (7-3) visits University of South Alabama Wednesday, Dec. 15 at 7 pm for an exhibition contest. Adrienne Mackay led the Lady Rams with 18 points, Alice Honnery added 14 points, 13 rebounds and 8 blocks, and both Morgan Melancon and Anna Maddox chipped in 11 points apiece for Mobile.

Mobile (6-3) hosts Concordia University-Selma Friday, Dec. 10 at 5:30 pm, while the loss is the first of the year for Brenau (7-1). Alyssa Lane led the Lady Rams with 16 points on 7-of-7 shooting, while Adrienne Mackay added 15 points and 7 boards and Morgan Crawford finished with 11 points. Morgan Melancon led the Lady Rams with 6 assists.

Mobile (5-3) hosts Brenau University Saturday, Dec. 4 at 2 pm. Adrienne Mackay led Mobile with 22 points and 10 rebounds, while Alice Honnery added 10 points, 17 rebounds, 6 blocks and 4 steals.

MOBILE, Ala-- Today's scheduled University of Mobile women's basketball game at Southeastern Louisiana has been canceled. The Lady Rams will host Brewton-Parker Friday, Dec. 3 at 6 pm, followed by the men at 8 pm.

MONTICELLO, Ark-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team fell 57-73 to NCAA-II Ouachita Baptist on the final day of the Dr. Mary Jane Gilbert Classic at Arkansas-Monticello Saturday. Adrienne Mackay led Mobile with 21 points and 8 rebounds and was named to the All-Tournament team, while Alyssa Lane added 10 points. Jana Rastovic grabbed 12 rebounds, while Alice Honnery grabbed 9 boards and had 3 blocks. Mobile shot 38% from the field, but hit only 1-of-11 from 3-point range and turned the ball over 30 times.

MONTICELLO, ARk-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team held off NCAA-II University of Arkansas-Monticello 66-65 at the 4th Annual Dr. Mary Jane Gilbert Classic Friday. Mobile (4-2) will battle Ouachita Baptist Saturday, Nov. 27 at 12 pm on the final day of the tournament. The Lady Rams had four players post double figures in scoring, led by 18 points from Alyssa Lane on 7-of-11 shooting from the floor.

ROME, Ga-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team fell 48-69 at Shorter University Saturday afternoon. Shorter improves to 8-0 on the season, while Mobile falls to 3-2. Mobile travels to Monticello, Ark., to face University of Arkansas-Monticello Friday, Nov. 26 at 7:30 pm. Alice Honnery paced Mobile with 16 points and 6 blocks, while Adrienne Mackay added a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds.
