MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team fell 57-63 to visiting Belhaven University Thursday evening in Southern States Athletic Conference action. Mobile (14-13, 8-8) visits Auburn-Montgomery Saturday at 2 pm. Belhaven out shot Mobile 45% to 35% from the floor, 57% to 15% from 3-point range and 71% to 50% from the free throw line.

NEW ORLEANS, La-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team moved to 3rd place in the SSAC West with a 67-63 victory at Loyola University Thursday evening. The Lady Rams shot 71% (12-17) from the charity stripe versus a paltry 27% (4-15) effort from the Wolf Pack. Mobile also turned the ball over only 10 times and held a slim 44-37 edge in rebounds.

MOBILE, Ala-- The Lady Rams fell to 19th-ranked Faulkner University 46-70 thanks to a second half that saw the team shoot 26% from the floor and get outscored 36-17. Mobile (12-11, 7-6) hosts Trinity Baptist Monday at 5:30 pm in non-conference action. Deonica McCormick was the lone Lady Ram in double figures with 11 points, 4 assists and 4 steals, while Brittney Carter led a trio of Lady Eagles in double figures with 20 points and 16 boards.

Mobile (12-10, 7-5) hosts Faulkner University Saturday at 2 pm. The Lady Rams got 20 points, 7 boards and 4 assists from Deonica McCormick, Briana Edwards added 15 points, Lauren Bethly chipped in 12 off the bench and Courtney Bayliss finished with 11 points and 6 rebounds.

JACKSON, Miss-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team finished the game on an 18-2 run to beat Southern States Athletic Conference rival Belhaven University 60-44 Thursday evening. Mobile (10-8, 5-4) visits William Carey (7-9, 3-6) Saturday at 2 pm. Briana Edwards led the Lady Rams with 21 points on 10-of-12 shooting, and she added 13 boards for a double-double.
