NEW ORLEANS, La-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team defeated University of New Orleans 85-83 in non-conference road action Monday evening. Mobile (7-18, 4-11) will host rival Spring Hill Saturday at 5 pm, as only three SSAC games remain on the schedule. Alice Honnery led the Lady Rams with 22 points and 11 rebounds, Daphnee Frieson added 16 points and 4 blocks and Leana Tajkov tallied 12 points on 6-of-11 shooting off the bench. Briana Edwards finished with 6 points, 6 assists and 5 boards in relief work.

Mobile (6-18, 4-11) will visit University of New Orleans Monday, Feb. 13 at 5:30 pm. Alice Honnery was the lone Lady Ram to score in double figures, finishing with 14 points, 7 rebounds, 5 blocks and 5 assists, while Daphnee Frieson and Briana Edwards each added 9 points.

JACKSON, Miss-- The second half doomed the University of Mobile women's basketball team to a 63-79 loss at 15th-ranked Belhaven University in SSAC action Thursday evening. Mobile (6-17, 4-10) hosts Auburn University-Montgomery Saturday at 2 pm. Alice Honnery was the lone Lady Ram to score in double figures with 21 points on 10-of-12 shooting from the floor, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks, while Daphnee Frieson added 9 points and 11 boards.

Briana Edwards led Mobile with 13 points off the bench, while Alice Honnery added 10 points and 13 rebounds, and Daphnee Frieson finished with 8 points and 11 boards. TeAnna Carter led the Lady Saders with 18 points on 8-of-16 shooting, while Crystal Tucker added 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Mobile (6-15, 4-8) hosts William Carey University Saturday, Feb. 4 at 2 pm. Alice Honnery paced Mobile with 12 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists, Briana Edwards added 11 points, and Daphnee Frieson and Lauren Bethly each chipped in 10 points for Mobile.

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team fell 59-64 at Faulkner University in Southern States Athletic Conference action Saturday afternoon. Mobile (6-14, 4-7) will host Loyola University Thursday, Feb. 2 at 5:30 pm. Daphnee Frieson led Mobile with 15 points, Alice Honnery added 14 points and 7 boards and Courtney Bayliss scored 10 off the bench. Brittney Carter led the way for the Lady Eagles with 29 points on 11-of-18 shooting.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team rallied late versus Spring Hill, but fell 71-76 to the rival Badgers. The win for Spring Hill snapped Mobile's 8-game win streak in the series. Mobile (6-13, 4-6) visits Faulkner University Saturday, Jan. 28 at 2 pm. Alice Honnery led the Lady Rams with a triple-double of 23 points, 16 rebounds and 12 blocks, while Daphnee Frieson added 20 points and 7 boards, and Briana Edwards chipped in 14 points and 11 rebounds off the bench.

HATTIESBURG, Miss-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team upended William Carey University 60-55 in SSAC action Thursday evening. Mobile (5-11, 3-4) hosts 19th-ranked Belhaven University Saturday at 5 pm. Daphnee Frieson led the Lady Rams with 13 points and 8 rebounds, Briana Edwards added 12 points and 7 boards, and Shontae Dillon finished with 10 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the free throw line.
