Lady Rams Hold On To Beat Lady Privateers 85-83

NEW ORLEANS, La-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team defeated University of New Orleans 85-83 in non-conference road action Monday evening. Mobile (7-18, 4-11) will host rival Spring Hill Saturday at 5 pm, as only three SSAC games remain on the schedule. Alice Honnery led the Lady Rams with 22 points and 11 rebounds, Daphnee Frieson added 16 points and 4 blocks and Leana Tajkov tallied 12 points on 6-of-11 shooting off the bench. Briana Edwards finished with 6 points, 6 assists and 5 boards in relief work.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team fell 60-73 to visiting Auburn University at Montgomery in SSAC action Saturday afternoon. Mobile (6-18, 4-11) will visit University of New Orleans Monday, Feb. 13 at 5:30 pm. MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team fell 55-64 at home to SSAC foe William Carey Saturday afternoon. Mobile (6-16, 4-9) will visit Belhaven Thursday, Feb. 9 at 5:30 pm. Briana Edwards led Mobile with 13 points off the bench, while Alice Honnery added 10 points and 13 rebounds, and Daphnee Frieson finished with 8 points and 11 boards. TeAnna Carter led the Lady Saders with 18 points on 8-of-16 shooting, while Crystal Tucker added 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Daphnee Frieson led Mobile with 15 points, Alice Honnery added 14 points and 7 boards and Courtney Bayliss scored 10 off the bench. MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team rallied late versus Spring Hill, but fell 71-76 to the rival Badgers. The win for Spring Hill snapped Mobile's 8-game win streak in the series. Mobile (6-13, 4-6) visits Faulkner University Saturday, Jan. 28 at 2 pm. Alice Honnery led the Lady Rams with a triple-double of 23 points, 16 rebounds and 12 blocks, while Daphnee Frieson added 20 points and 7 boards, and Briana Edwards chipped in 14 points and 11 rebounds off the bench.
