No. 22 Women's Golf 7 Strokes Back After Round One

HATTIESBURG, Miss-- The 22nd-ranked University of Mobile women's golf team is in 3rd place after one round of play at the Carey Collegiate Classic at Canebrake Country Club. The Lady Rams shot a +35 319 to sit only seven strokes back of leader William Carey (+28 312) and five strokes back of Lindsey Wilson (+30 314).

No. 19 Mobile Picks Up Pair Of Run-Rule Victories

HATTIESBURG, Miss-- The 19th-ranked University of Mobile softball team won a pair of neutral site games at William Carey Saturday, beating LSU-Alexandria 14-4 in five innings and taking down Embry-Riddle 8-0 in five. In the first game, the Lady Rams scored in each inning, and tallied multiple runs in all but one frame. Mobile did the damage on 14 hits and 7 walks.

Lady Rams Pick Up Big 5-4 Win Against Rival Badgers

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's tennis team beat rival Spring Hill 5-4 in an always-important Southern States Athletic Conference matchup Friday evening. Mobile (8-0, 2-0) now has the edge in the hunt for the host bid to the 2013 NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship. The Lady Rams visit Huntingdon March 19 at 1 pm.

Baseball Smacks Bears 9-4 In Series-Opener

CLEVELAND, Ga-- The University of Mobile baseball team pounded out 22 hits to beat Truett-McConnell 9-4 in Friday's Southern States Athletic Conference series opener. Mobile (15-9, 5-5) and Truett finish the series with a noon doubleheader Saturday. Ryan Parazine and Angelo Bruno led the Rams with four hits apiece, with Bruno smacking a home run in the game.

Men's Tennis Stays Unbeaten With 8-1 Home Victory

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's tennis team improved to 6-0 on the season with an 8-1 victory over visiting Transylvania Wednesday. Mobile (6-0, 1-0) hosts rival Spring Hill Friday at 5 pm. The Rams took two-of-three doubles points and then swept the visitors in singles play.
