No. 25 Mobile Sweeps Lindenwood Lady Lions

MOBILE, Ala-- The 25th-ranked University of Mobile softball team run-ruled Lindenwood University 10-2 in six innings in the opener Sunday, and then rallied for a 4-3 walk-off win in the finale. Mobile (25-10, 6-0) visits 9th-ranked Belhaven University Tuesday, March 30 for a 3 pm Gulf Coast Athletic Conference twin bill.

Rams Finish Off Four-Game Sweep Of Tougaloo

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile baseball team swept Tougaloo College by 10-2 and 10-5 scores in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference action Saturday afternoon. The Rams won Saturday's opening game 10-2 in 7 innings. Dustin Lee picked up the win by scattering 7 hits over 4.2 innings of relief after starter Michael Clay left with an injury. Lee struck out 3 and walked 1.

Lady Rams Sweep Rival Lady Badgers

MOBILE, Ala-- The 25th-ranked University of Mobile softball team pulled out a pair of late-inning wins versus Spring Hill College in GCAC action at Mobile Friday. The Lady Rams won the opener 2-1 in 8 innings and won the finale 2-0. The opener saw Mobile's Victoria Buie and Spring Hill's Samantha Brooks do battle.

UM Baseball Takes Two From Bulldogs

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile baseball team swept Gulf Coast Athletic Conference foe Tougaloo College Friday, winning 12-6 in 7 innings and 12-5 in 9 innings. Chris Peacock got the win in the opener, after allowing 3 earned runs on 14 hits in 7 innings of work. The Rams' offense backed him up with 12 runs on 12 hits.

Lady Rams Take Down #23 Spring Hill

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's tennis team knocked off 23rd-ranked Spring Hill College 5-4 in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference action Wednesday evening. The Lady Rams (10-3, 6-3) next play at LSU-Shreveport Saturday at 10 am, while Spring Hill (8-5, 6-4) visits Belhaven April 9 at 12 pm.

Mobile Signs St. Paul's Episcopal Product

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile baseball program announced the signing of St. Paul's Episcopal School's Blake Matthews for the 2011 season. "He has tremendous upside, and we think he'll mature and get better over his four years here and be a big contributing factor to our success," Mobile Head Coach Mike Jacobs said.
