No. 21 Lady Rams Sweep Pair From Visiting Faulkner

MOBILE, Ala-- The 21st-ranked University of Mobile softball team swept a doubleheader from visiting Faulkner University Saturday, taking the opener 5-4, before run-ruling the Lady Eagles 9-0 in five innings. Mobile (20-12, 5-6) visits William Carey Tuesday at 4 pm. Faulkner came in receiving votes in the NAIA Top-25.

No. 21 Lady Rams Split Twin Bill With No. 7 AUM

MOBILE, Ala-- The 21st-ranked University of Mobile softball team split a Friday Southern States Athletic Conference twin bill with 7th-ranked Auburn-Montgomery, winning the opener 5-4 and dropping the finale 5-14 in five innings. Mobile (18-12, 3-6) hosts Faulkner (17-5-1, 3-2-1) for a SSAC doubleheader Saturday at 3 pm.

Lady Rams Finish 2nd At Emmanuel Invitational

HARTWELL, Ga-- The University of Mobile women's golf team finished 2nd at the Emmanuel Invitational, finishing ahead of the other three Southern States Athletic Conference teams in the field. UMobile carded a two-round total of +121 697 (356, 341) at the Par-72, 5,800-yard Cateechee Golf Course.

Four Rams Earn SSAC Player Of The Week Honors

MOBILE, Ala-- The Southern States Athletic Conference released the Player of the Week awards for the week of March 18-24, and the University of Mobile had four athletes honored. Jared Brannon was named Player of the Week for baseball, Chase Blan won honors for men's golf, Kamaron Strickland was named Softball Pitcher of the Week and Aggy Rozite was named Women's Tennis Player of the Week.

Rams Drop Finale At No. 18 AUM

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- An eight-run fourth inning was not enough Monday, as the University of Mobile baseball team fell 8-14 to 18th-ranked Auburn-Montgomery in the series finale. Mobile (21-10, 9-6) swept Sunday's doubleheader to take the series from the Warhawks (19-14, 6-9). The Rams host 9th-ranked Faulkner University for a three-game series this weekend, beginning with a single game Friday at 2 pm.
