Mobile Wins Pair Of GCAC Matches

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's tennis team picked up a pair of Gulf Coast Athletic Conference victories Saturday, beating Belhaven University 7-2 and downing Tougaloo College 7-2.

 

The Lady Rams (7-2, 4-2) host Millsaps College Monday at 10 am.

 

Against Belhaven, Claudia Borges, Zelie Pfeiffer, Rachel Hartley, Nancy Machen and Emily Jennings picked up singles victories, while Z. Pfeiffer - R. Hartley and C. Borges - N. Machen picked up doubles wins.

 

Against Tougaloo, Pfeiffer, Jennings, Kari Williams and Hartley picked up singles wins. Pfeiffer - Hartley, K. Williams - Jennings and Borges - Machen swept doubles play for the Lady Rams.
