Eleven Rams Earn SSAC Baseball Honors
COLUMBUS, Ga-- The University of Mobile baseball team had 11 student-athletes honored with the released of the 2013 Southern States Athletic Conference year-end awards Monday evening. Ryan Parazine and Braxton Hamil led the way with 1st-Team All-Conference nods, while Jared Brannon was named 2nd-Team All-Conference for his efforts. Freshman shortstop Payne Palmer was named to the All-Freshman Team.
Field Set For 2013 SSAC Baseball Tournament
COLUMBUS, Ga.-- The Southern States Athletic Conference released the pool play pairings for the 2013 SSAC Baseball Tournament. Mobile is the 5th seed in the conference and will be matched up against William Carey, Brewton-Parker and Lee University.
Baseball Beats Badgers To Cap Regular Season
MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile baseball team closed the regular season with a sweep of Spring Hill College Saturday, winning the finale 6-3. The Rams (34-19, 17-13) will be the No. 6 seed at the 2013 SSAC Tournament April 30 - May 4 in Columbus, Ga. Joining Mobile in Pool B will be Lee, William Carey and Brewton-Parker.
