Polnett Named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete
MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile's Marcus Polnett was named a Daktronics-NAIA DI Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete, as announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Monday. Sixty men's basketball student-athletes were honored.
Rams' Season Comes To a Close Against No. 12 WCU
MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team fell 63-75 to 12th-ranked William Carey in the Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament Thursday evening. Mobile ends the season with a 16-14 overall record. Brandon Morris was the lone Ram to score in double figures, finishing the game with 21 points on 8-of-16 shooting from the floor and 4-of-8 shooting from 3-point range.
Rams Earn SSAC Honors
MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team had three athletes honored by the Southern States Athletic Conference with the release of the SSAC Year-End Awards Wednesday evening. Cole Fountain was named All-Freshman, Marcus Polnett and Cody Scott earned All-Academic honors and Polnett was the team's Champions of Character honoree.
