 MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile's Ann Kathrin Nahl and Abbie Harris were honored by the Southern States Athletic Conference Thursday, with the release of the 2012 SSAC postseason awards. Nahl, a sophomore from Waeschenbeuren, Germany was named the team's Musco Lighting Champions of Character recipient, All-Conference and All-Academic. Harris was named to the All-Tournament Team. |

 PASS CHRISTIAN, Miss-- The University of Mobile finished 3rd at the 2012 SSAC Women's Golf Championships Wednesday at The Oaks Golf Club's Par-72, 5,880-yard course. Lee University won the two-round tournament and the automatic bid to the 2012 NAIA Women's Golf National Championships with a 38-over 614 (310, 304). The Lady Rams finished two spots behind the Flames at 105-over 681 (343, 338), while Shorter placed 2nd at +75 651 (329, 322). UMobile finished 49 strokes ahead of the 5th-place Spring Hill College Badgers. |

 CLARKESVILLE, Ga-- The University of Mobile women's golf team finished in 3rd place at the Piedmont Spring Invitational Tuesday. The Lady Rams carded a collective 79-over 655 (326, 329) at The Orchard Golf & Country Club. Lee University won the tournament with a +28 604 (305, 299). Ann Nahl finished in a tie for 10th among individuals after firing a 12-over 156 (77, 79). Lee's Courtney Shelton finished 1st with a 2-over 146 (72, 74). The best scores in each round were 72 and 73. |
