Cameron Williams will begin his first season with the University of Mobile women's soccer program in 2013.

After playing from 2007-10 at LaGrange College, Williams served as a graduate assistant coach for the school's women's soccer program the last two seasons. Primary duties included recruiting, compliance, academics, training goalkeepers and forwards, and all administrative duties.

In his first season as a GA, Williams helped the team reach the Great South Athletic Conference Tournament Championship Game for the first time in school history. LaGrange also had 11 earn All-Conference honors that season, and eight earn All-Academic honors.

In 2012, he helped the team transition to the USA South Conference and saw the team tie the school record for wins in a season. He also coached two players that finished in the top five in goals scored in the conference.

Williams' main duties will be to serve as recruiting coordinator, goalkeeper trainer and do a lot with field maintenance. He will also help out in training, game day duties and other administrative aspects.

Prior to coaching, Williams was a four-year letterman for LaGrange, playing in 52 games from 2007-10. Totaling 16 goals and four assists in his final two seasons, Williams earned All-Conference honors and led his team in scoring both years. He was named MVP and Most Valuable Offensive Player in 2009.

Williams also has coaching experience at the club and high school level, coaching the 94's, 00's and 02's Troup Titans for two years and LaGrange High School for two seasons.

He earned his bachelor's degree from LaGrange in May 2011 and earned his master's degree in Education for Middle Grades History and Literature from LaGrange in 2013.
