Unlike many programs, we have two, top-class, Bermuda-grass fields. Our game field, pictured above, is located in front of the practice field. The NAIA National Tournament has been held here, the Men’s tournament in 1994 & 1995, the Women’s Tournament in 1998. The coaching staff of both the men’s and women’s programs take great pride in caring for the fields to provide the best possible playing and training surfaces.
Our locker room and player’s lounge area are located a short walk from the fields. Each player has their own place to sit and store their boots and the rest of their gear. Personalized nameplates with each player’s number are located over their chair. Video sessions are common occurrences in the locker room with the 40-inch flat-screen TV. State-of-the-art Surround sound also encourages dance parties during pre-game preparation and for post-game victory celebrations!
Our campus is home to two weight room facilities. One is located in The Commons, our student center. The other is located in the gym and is used by all of our athletic teams. High-end Hammer strength equipment is located throughout giving our athletes every opportunity to raise their game and outperform the opponents.
Our training room is located close to campus housing so if an athlete is in need of treatment they do not have far to go. Two full-time trainers are on site as well as many student trainers apprenticing in our exceptional Athletic Training program. We have all the treatment modalities an athlete needs, hydrotherapy, electrical stim, ultrasound, kyrotherapy, and thermotherapy as well as personal attention from our trainers to get athletes back on the field as quickly as possible!
