Dunson Named Capital One Academic All-America 2nd-Team
MOBILE, Ala-- Brittany Dunson was named to the 2013 Capital One Academic All-America College Division Softball 2nd-Team Monday, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The Capital One Academic All-America College Division softball team is comprised of student-athletes from NAIA, Canadian and two-year institutions.
Lady Rams' Run At SSAC Tourney Comes To An End
COLUMBUS, Ga-- The University of Mobile softball team saw its run the 2013 Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament come to an end Friday with a 3-1 loss to 17th-ranked Belhaven in the double-elimination tournament. Mobile (29-22) will await word on a possible at-large bid to the field of 40 for the 2013 NAIA National Championship Opening Round. The field will be announced May 7.
Lady Rams Earn Capital One Academic All-District Honors
MOBILE, Ala-- Korie Fontenot and Brittany Dunson were named members of the Capital One Academic All-District Team in softball for District 2 (College Division) as announced by the Collegiate Sports Information Directors Association (CoSIDA).
