2013 SSAC Softball Championship Bracket Released
COLUMBUS, Ga-- The Southern States Athletic Conference released the 2013 SSAC Softball Conference Championship Bracket. The Lady Rams (27-20, 12-14) enter the bracket as the 5th seed out of the SSAC West. Mobile's first opponent will be Southern Wesleyan (26-25, 11-18) Thursday, May 2 at 12 p.m.
Lady Rams Earn Split At No. 11 Belhaven
JACKSON, Miss-- The University of Mobile softball team earned a split at 11th-ranked Belhaven University Saturday to close out the regular season. The Lady Rams won the opener 4-3 before falling 1-2 in the finale. Mobile (27-20, 12-14) will compete at the 2013 SSAC Tournament May 2-4 in Columbus, Ga. The Lady Rams will be the 5th seed out of the west.
Terri McCormick Gets Win No. 200; UMobile Sweeps Faulkner
MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The University of Mobile softball team swept Faulkner University by scores of 2-0 and 4-2 in Southern States Athletic Conference action Wednesday to give head coach Terri McCormick career win number 200. McCormick's career record now sits at 201-97 in her sixth season at the University of Mobile.
