Head Tennis Coach
Coach Tittl will enter his 6th season as head man of the men’s tennis squad and 11th season in charge of the women’s team.  Tittl also serves as assistant to the athletic director and oversees game management at the University of Mobile.

Under Tittl, the men have made five-straight trips to the NAIA National Championship, which is every year since the program’s reinstatement in 2008, and the women made 7-straight trips to the National Tournament before missing out in 2012. He also guided the women to the 2006 and 2008 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Championships. Tittl was also named GCAC Women’s Tennis Coach of the Year in 2006.

His student-athletes have also excelled academically, as 13 of his players  have been named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes since 2006.  Both 2008 teams were named NAIA Scholar Teams with collective GPA’s over 3.0.

Prior to coaching tennis at UMobile, Tittl started the women’s soccer program in 1992 and racked up a 197-90-8 from 1992-2006.  He won the NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship in 1997 with a 24-0-0 record.

In his spare time, Tittl also serves as an official for college soccer, and worked the 2011 SEC Championships.

He received his b.s. in physical education at Alderson-Broaddus College and lives in Daphne.
